KUCHING: Engkilili assemblyman Dr Johnical Rayong Ngipa says he is not leaving Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) – this after Batu Lintang assemblyman See Chee How resigned.
“I will remain loyal with PSB,” the PSB vice-president and Youth chief.
Meanwhile, Ba’Kelalan assemblyman Baru Bian told Malay Mail that he would also not be resigning from PSB. “I will stay with PSB,” he was quoted as saying.
See’s resignation was announced by State Legislative Assembly (DUN) Speaker Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar yesterday after receiving See’s resignation letter dated Aug 12.
See is expected to hold a press conference regarding his resignation today. See retained his seat in the last election under the PSB ticket.
With that, three state seats are now under PSB, namely Bawang Assan, Engkilili and Ba’Kelalan. PSB is led by president Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh.
