MIRI: Members of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) have been reminded to protect and nurture unity and discipline within the party.
PBB vice president Datuk Julaihi Narawi pointed out that these elements are important to strengthen the party.
“This morning (April 23) I had the opportunity to officiate and coordinate the ‘Mesyuarat Perwakilan Tiga Tahun Sekali’ for PBB Senadin branch here.
“I urged the members and leaders of PBB to defend and nurture unity and discipline among the party members as these elements are important for the party’s strength.
“Afterall, PBB is the backbone to the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) government,” he said.
During the meeting which took place at Eastwood Valley, Golf & Country Club here, the Sebuyau assemblyman was assisted by Razali Allision, Lambir assemblyman Dr Ripin Lamat and Sibuti Member of Parliament (MP) Lukanisman Awang Sauni.
The Sebuyau assemblyman also congratulated branch head Julaihi Mohammad, deputy branch head Cho Nyalo and 19 committee members who won without contesting. “I wish them all great success ahead,” he added.
