KUCHING: The state government will be setting up more mass vaccination centres (PPVs) to inoculate the public with the vaccines under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (NCIP).
Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) advisor Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian said this was to scale up the vaccine rollout in the state following the increase of vaccine supply.
“More mass vaccination centres will be started throughout Sarawak. The PPV at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) has started on June 7 while the Unimas PPV, which will be able to conduct 3,000 vaccinations per day, will operate by mid-June.
