KUCHING: Those who want to install broadband services in the state’s rural schools must get permission from the authorities.

Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr James Jemut Masing stressed this also applied to Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB), meaning it needed to obtain permission from the Ministry of Education (MoE) before installing such services in schools in Baleh constituency.

“Permission is needed from the Ministry of Education (MoE) before PSB can install the Connectme satellite broadband in the compound of schools.
