SIBU: Sarawak will have its own archive to store texts and documents that are part of the state’s history for future generations.

Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg said the state government had set aside RM250mil for the purpose.

“I support the setting up of an archive as we have many artifacts that are currently outside the state – we want to bring them home and we want to preserve them.
