SERIAN: The support by Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) for Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has not wavered said GPS chairman and Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg.

He assured that Sarawak’s backing for the premier would continue and that GPS MPs were not involved in a purported coup by Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to assume the federal government.

“I don’t know how he (Anwar) calculates (the number of MPs) but GPS will be behind Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. I have said during our Malaysia Day celebration in Sibu that GPS will back Muhyiddin. That stays,” he said.
