KUCHING: The Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) state government’s priority is bringing development to the state and its people instead of focusing on who should have the prime minister’s post, said Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg.
“We are busy focusing on development. To me, that (prime minister’s post) is secondary,” he told reporters after officiating at the groundbreaking ceremony of the Jalan Sungai Maong to Segedup project at Lorong 10, Kampung Segedup, Batu Kawa yesterday.
Abang Johari, who is also the GPS chairman, acknowledged, however, the country needed a stable administration.
