KUCHING: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Pantai Damai will continue to streamline its struggle to face future political challenges.

This was stated by Pantai Damai assemblyman and PBB vice-president at “Randau GPS for Pantai Damai Constituency” at Kampung Boyan last Tuesday.

On the programme he thought it was the best platform to further strengthen cooperation among leaders and members.

According to him, through the programme the leaders at the branch and sub-branch levels could share information on current issues.

“Fewer meetings can weaken relationships. Therefore, this ‘randau’ is important to strengthen the ties,” he said.

Dr Abdul Rahman, who is also Rural Electricity Assistant Minister, explained that every PBB leader should strengthen the party machinery for the next state election.

“We need to make sure that PBB remains relevant in all the villages in our area where PBB has played a leading role in their development,” he continued.

He further stressed that more should be done to educate the public on Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) so that more people would become aware of the coalition and what it can do for them.

“Our task now is to change the mentality of the people and introduce GPS,” he declared.
