KULIM: Barisan Nasional’s (BN) splendid victory in the 11th Sarawak state election yesterday has given clear indication that the people in the state rejected the politics of hatred and pitting one against the other propagated by the opposition.

“A victory that was totally unexpected which indicates that the urban voters have returned to support BN and rejecting the politics of pitting one against the other, hatred and slanders propagated by the opposition during the election.

“The tactic that they used to break up solidarity of the Sarawak people are no longer working and they have given the indication that the opposition, particularly the DAP should stop such rhetoric,” he told reporters after officiating the Carnival and Launching of the Recycle For Life program at the Kulim Municipal Council level, here Sunday.
