MIRI: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi will make a day-long visit to Limbang in Sarawak on Sunday.

Accordin to Bernama, Ahmad Zahid will arrive in Limbang at 9am from the Miri airport and attend a ‘Pesta Berdudun’ gathering in Kampung Gadong located across Sungai Limbang, according to his itinerary released to the media by the Information Department.

‘Berdudun’ is a word from the Brunei Malay dialect that means to gather and mingle with the intention to foster closer relations.

After the event in Kampung Gadong, the deputy prime minister will attend a meet-the-people session at Rumah Intai Menuang in the afternoon, said the media release.

He will return to Kuala Lumpur after that.
