KUCHING: The arrival of 1.3 million tourists to Sarawak between January and April this year generated earnings of RM3.27 billion, according to Tourism, Creative Industries and Performing Arts Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah.
Sarawak aims to attract 3 million tourists this year with prospects of generating earnings of up to RM7.25 billion.
Last year, Sarawak welcomed 2.03 million tourists, estimating earnings of RM4.96 billion.
