KUCHING: Rainforest World Music Festival 2017 (RWMF) gives a lot of excitement to volunteers in Santubong, said Dr Phang, 40, one of the volunteers at RWMF.
“This is not my first time in Kuching, I’ve been here but not for the festival. I just came here to visit cultural village but this time I came as a volunteer for the music festival,” said Phang, a lecturer in Kuala Lumpur.
He pointed out that, his friend asked him to be a volunteer to execute a short survey about visitors satisfaction at the music festival.
About 20,000 visitors are expected to attend the festival.
“It was very exhausting because there were a lot of people and also international visitors and I have to say that the food is so good but I enjoyed at this music festival,” he said.
He mentioned that he still has to administer the survey and after he completed it he will enjoy the performance at the festival.
“There were quite a number of respondents who were willing to participate in the survey,” said Phang who will be the RWMF volunteer for three days.
Phang added, the enumerators attended the workshop during day time. – Sarawakvoice
